What a masterpiece! This is the Rpg Maker game anyone who picked up the program was hoping to make.Starless Umbra has 2 different difficulty settings, tons of puzzles and minigames, original menus, graphics and music, and is great fun! You can tell DHM was meticulous about every detail, even including footprints when you walk on sand.
I enjoyed the different aspects of the gameplay. At different points of the demo you get to hide behind corners and throw knives, use a stamina meter to run and jump over obstacles, and solve puzzles as quickly as possible before wolves are able to find you.
The only thing I didn't like about the game was how short it is. But it is only a demo, and from the look of the screenshots at http://www.starlessumbra.com there is much more to come with the next demo. It doesn't really take that long to play through, so I would recommend that everyone download and enjoy this great game.

Actually, length was bumped from 4 to 5 after the chapter 1 release. It may take another chapter to hit 6, dhm. :)
