Well drat and blast. I was going to use this space to make a grand statement inviting Toys to come back as a much more regular member, who posts about more than just Daft Punk. Then suddenly, I noticed that yesterday he made a number of posts, more than I made, even. My gesture seems almost moot, now. almost. Toys, you're MOTW this week. Make the most of it, by working Daft Punk in to every topic you post in.

Good ol' fashioned space opera, a genre the world needs more of in EVERYTHING, made in RM2k. Not the most stand out production of the era, but features a few nice custom assets, and traditional gameplay.

I was going to make Toys the MOTW the next week I would do it. I've been meaning to for a long time, actually.

 

And I was going to post here but I've been lazy all week, but I was looking at some MP stats (another thing I am lazy about) and one interesting thing is that awstats always has a ridiculous amount of Crippled Cranes songs on the top of the list.

 

I always think I get sentimental when thinking about Matt, but it's crazy how much history me and him have together considering how far apart we actually are. I mean, I have probably known Matt longer than anyone else I know who isn't related to me, that I still talk to. He is probably the first member of MP besides me (but will never quite reach the greatness of Sinclair, sorry). We have constantly been in the same area of webspace. MP, RPG Wizard, Diary-land, Orate, EG, etc... We had that terrible Crippled Cranes band that only had moments of greatness because of him.  He's always been a huge part of this site, and I think my life would be considerably different without him in it. To the degree that MP probably wouldn't even exist without him, I might have not even started it back in the day without him or restarted it when I came back from my hiatus of having internet. I also might have never posted on EG without him, and met a lot of you dudes, or even listen to Arcade Fire which lead to me seeing them in concert and eventually meeting my girlfriend because of it.  He's also one of the only three members here I've ever met (that wasn't already my friend).

 

I know we don't talk as much as we used to, which is true for everyone here, I s'pose, but jeez. I love toys, and all you guys. ugh.

Awe, shucks you guys, you're gonna make me start crying over here. And that Ozzy picture, hahaha. Likewise, Kenneth, you and monkeypro have been a huge influence on my internet ways, too, and especially on my taste in music and nerdy things of all types. It's crazy to think how long I've been associated with some of you around here, all the way back to RPGWizard and Epiphany Gaming and the like.

 

I feel bad that I haven't ever really been that active on monkeypro, I figure I'll stick around this time.
